Joseph 'Joe' Howard Logan

Posted
LIBERTY – Joseph “Joe” Howard Logan, 61, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.

He was born on March 22, 1959, in Shirley, Mass., to Bernie Logan and Judith Lackey Logan. On Jan. 3, 2002, he married Debra Starks in College Corner.

Joe was a self-employed truck driver and drove for several other places. He had most recently worked at Patriot Auto Sales in Liberty.

Joe had helped take care of the Woodlawn Trailer Park he had lived at. He took pride in making sure the mowing was kept up on and things continued to look nice. Joe enjoyed going fishing and riding motorcycles, dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He rarely missed a NASCAR race and a Green Bay Packers football game on television. Joe would help anyone who needed help. He had a nickname for everyone he met. He loved to cook and make his own PawPaw kool-aid for his family.

His most cherished times were spent with his family. Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Logan, Cheyenne Heath and Amanda Hoskins; sons, Caleb (Melissa) Logan, Drake “Duck” Webb, James Goubeaux and Jr. Goubeaux; 13 grandchildren, including Ariana Logan, Celeste Logan and Hailie Logan; two great-grandchildren, Madison Hantschy and Everly Rose Webb; three sisters, Roxanne Boardman, Robin Lindsay and Tammy Willard; an aunt, Shirley Sexton; and many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, Bill Boardman.

Visitation and funeral services for Joe were held Tuesday at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N. Main St., Liberty.
