NORTH MANCHESTER — Joseph George Deal, 74, North Manchester, died at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 12, 2017, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. He was born March 28, 1942, in Indianapolis, to Ray V. and Marietta Bruch Deal. On Nov. 4, 1969, he married Penny M. Speicher; she died March 11, 1999. On Dec. 24, 1999, he married Penny J. French. She survives. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps 1st Marine Air Wing during the Vietnam War. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Brethren Church, 407 N. Sycamore St., North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
