Joseph Charles Hill, 49, of 5306 N. CR 400W, Warsaw, died at 9:20 a.m. Dec. 19, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 6, 1961, in Muskegon, Mich., to John James Hill and Nora Jean Cooper Matty.
A resident of Kosciusko County for the past 37 years, he was a 1979 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. For a number of years he worked in the R.V. industry in Middlebury, and worked as an automotive technician at Rice Ford Lincoln Mercury Inc., Warsaw, since 1996.
Surviving are a son, Anthony Hill, Warsaw; a daughter, Emily Hill, Mulliken, Mich.; a grandson; his former wife, Laura Hill, Claypool; his mother, Nora Jean Cooper Matty, Hernando Beach, Fla.; two brothers, John Hill, Harrod, Ohio, and David (and spouse Pam) Hill, Kenton, Ohio; and two sisters, Brenda Hill, Milford, and Janette Johansen, Montague, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
No services are planned. Burial will be at a later date at Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
