Joseph A. ‘Joe’ KrugerJoseph A. “Joe” Kruger, 91, of Warsaw, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec, 7, 2021, at his home.
He was born on April 18, 1930, in Seymour, to Alton and Margaret Burns Kruger.
He graduated in 1948 from North Webster High School, was a United States Korean veteran and lifetime North Webster/Warsaw area resident. He was married in 1978, in Warsaw, to Sue E. Bibler Riffe, who survives. He formerly worked at Chore Time Brock in Milford for 32 years and Ace Hardware in Warsaw for 25 years.
He attended the Community Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw and was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by wife, Sue Kruger, of Warsaw; daughter, Cheryl (Doug) Ringler, of Syracuse; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Amanda (Bruce) Mueller, of Palatine, Ill.; two stepgrandchildren; brother, Thomas Kruger, of North Webster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kim Stewart; granddaughter, Katie Stewart; stepson, Stephen Riffe; and brother, Bill Kruger.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16 at Community Grace Brethren Church, 909 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, with Pastor Reg Overstreet officiating.
