Jose T. Cerda-Tinoco, 58, Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at 7 a.m. June 21, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 1, 1958, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, to Jose and Celia Tinoco Cerda. He was married in 1980 to Ofelia Martinez, who survives in Mexico. He had been a resident of Kosciusko County since 1997 where he attended Iglesia Betesda Asambleas de Dios, Warsaw. He had worked as a finisher at Heiman Construction Inc., Warsaw, for over 15 years. Surviving are five daughters: Oneida J. Cerda Martinez, Veronica E. Cerda Martinez, Yesenia L. Cerda Martinez, Jasmine Cerda Jacome and Juliana Cerda Jacome, all of Warsaw; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Guillermina (and spouse Danny) Clingaman and Maria Elena Cerda Tinoco (and spouse Sergio) Garcia, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a son, Gilberto Cerda Jr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Iglesia Betesda Asambleas de Dios, Warsaw, with the Rev. Alfredo Sanchez officiating. Graveside services will be at Leesburg Cemetery.
