Jose Jaime MendozaJose Jaime Mendoza, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne at the age of 60.
He was born on Sept. 7, 1962, in La Cuevita, Municipio Apaseo Alto Guanajuato, Mexico, to Maria De Carman Vega Mendoza and Juan Mendoza. On Aug. 17, 1985, he was married to Estela Mendoza Rodriguez, and they were blessed with 37 years of marriage before Jose passed away.
Jose moved to Warsaw in 1990 and worked at Rinker Boat in Syracuse for 20 years and was a hardworking man his entire life. He then worked at Hi-Grade Egg Producers in North Manchester until his retirement due to illness. When he was able to, he very much enjoyed fly fishing. Jose loved his family and was dearly loved by his family and was well taken care of in his final years on this Earth. He will be forever loved and missed by all.
He leaves behind his wife, Estela Mendoza Rodriguez, Warsaw; son, Jose R. Mendoza, Warsaw; granddaughter, Vida; and his mother, Maria De Carman Mendoza Vega, Mexico. Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan in 2022; and three brothers.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Jose’s Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon on Tuesday, Decm 6 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, and celebrated by Padre Constantino Rocha. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
