ROCHESTER - Jordan Cole Horn, 12, of 3408 S. CR 1000E, Akron, died at 7:52 p.m. Aug. 30, 2007, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of CRs 225 S. and 175E, Akron.

He was born May 31, 1995, in Rochester, to Tim and Gerri Cole Horn.

He spent his entire life in the Akron and Rochester communities. He was a sixth grader at Tippecanoe Valley Middle School, Akron. He attended Rochester Church of God. He was a wrestler and enjoyed skateboarding. He had an interest in motors and engines and loved to ride go-karts, mini-bikes, the garden tractor and the John Deere Gator.

Surviving are his mother, Gerri Ruiz, Akron; his father, Tim Horn (and companion Kay Dulin), Rochester; four brothers; Kyle Horn, Akron; Travis (and wife Kristin) Horn, Rochester; Ty Horn, San Diego, Calif.; and Rodnie Stone, Peru; maternal grandparents, Patricia Cole, Denver, and Monty and Janni Barnett, Crawfordsville; paternal grandparents, Maurice and Janet Horn, Rochester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, George "Dick" Cole.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Larry Pyeatt officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Denver.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
