Alden "Junior" and Penny Jones, Claypool, marked their 40th wedding anniversary June 24, 2007. Alden "Junior" Jones and Penny Miller were married June 24, 1967, at Sacred Heart Church in Warsaw with Father Horvath officiating.
He is retired from ATT after 34 years, and spent 12-1/2 years at United Tech. She works for Temp Services.
The couple have two children, Christopher (and wife Gale), Warsaw, and Brian Thomas, Indianapolis. They have one grandson.
The couple celebrated the anniversary with a family dinner at The Boathouse restaurant June 23. They also had cake and ice cream with Howard and Carol Jones, who also celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary in June.
