Jonathan Robert Horne, 51, Raleigh, N.C., died at 5 p.m. May 26, 2014, at his parents’ Winona Lake home. He was born April 24, 1963, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert M. and Betty Joy Rankin Horne. He was a 1981 graduate of Lakeland Christian Academy, Winona Lake. He was an air conditioning tech for Precision Air in Florida, and also was a Hazmat technician. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Surviving are his parents; a brother, Mark (and spouse Wendy) Horne, Lake Worth, Fla.; a niece, Megan Horne, Lake Worth; a nephew, Adam Horne, Lake Worth; two uncles, Gerald Rankin, Colorado Springs, Colo., and David Rankin, La Vergne, Tenn; two aunts, Theresia Rankin, Colorado Springs, and Saundra Rankin, La Vergne; and eight cousins.
