ROCHESTER - Jonathan Howard Kamp 28, of 7854 E. CR 250S, Akron, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 11:28 p.m. Nov. 30, 2007, in Sevastapool.

He was born April 5, 1979, in Logansport, to Frank H. Sr. and Christine K. Jones Kamp.

He attended Rochester Community Schools, and graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1997.

He was a bailer operator for Lewis Salvage, Warsaw. He was a member of ABATE and had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he was active in catechism. He had been active in Rochester Youth Little League T-Ball and baseball. He had a Rochester Sentinel paper route in his youth, and currently was in lawn maintenance. He enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, deer hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his parents, Frank H. (and spouse Linda) Kamp Sr., Rochester, and Christine K. (and spouse Barth) Hooker, Kissimmee, Fla.; companion, Tracy L. Davis, Akron; children: Justin Kolby, Mishawaka; Brandy Little John, North Webster; and Mason and Wyatt Davis, both of Akron; brothers: John (and spouse Melinda) Kamp, Akron; Josh Kamp, Paducah, Ky.; and Franklin Kamp Jr. (and fiance Kim England), Denver, Ind.; sisters, Jennifer Mendoza, Akron, and Jane and Jada Hooker, both of Kissimmee; grandparents: Wayne and Isabelle Kamp, Akron; Francis "Casey" and Marilyn Jones, Rochester; Sharon Meenen, Macy; great-grandmother, Anna P. Richhart, Rochester; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ben Fleck and Howard Meenen.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Joseph Jacob officiating. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
