SYRACUSE – Jonathan A. "Jon" Pitts, 50, of South Bend, died at 4:38 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.
He was born June 19, 1968, in Lafayette, to James A. and Gloria J. Hensley Pitts.
Among his survivors is his father, Jim (Mary Katsaropoulos) Pitts, Syracuse.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. March 16 at the home of his sister, Jackie Williams, 50705 Tecumseh Drive, Granger.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
