SYRACUSE - Johnie W. Kreischer, 57, of Leesburg, died June 20, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Feb. 8, 1953, in Hartford City, to George "Pete" and Ruby Misamore Kreischer. He married Pam Taylor, who died in 2002.
He owned and operated #1 Bait Store, Ind. 13, Pierceton. He was also a licensed real estate agent and had previously worked for Culbertson Realty. He was a member of North Webster American Legion.
Surviving are two sisters, Bett Kreischer, Decatur, and Peggy (and spouse Donald) Brown, New Vienna, Ohio; two brothers, Donald (and spouse Mary) Kreischer, Cromwell, and LeRoy Kreischer, Puyallup, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
