John Wayne Slone, 56, of Warsaw, died at 7 p.m. March 2, 2013, in his residence.
He was born March 30, 1956, in Warsaw, to Orville and Mary Elizabeth Osborne Slone.         
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he worked at Ameri-Kan, Warsaw,  and attended God’s Highway to Heaven.
Surviving are two daughters, Rita (and spouse James) Mooney and Elizabeth (and spouse Justin) Spouse, all of Lorain, Ohio; four grandchildren:  Kenneth, Dharma, Tyler and Caitlyn; three sisters: Lydia (and spouse Lue) Lichlyter, Wakeman, Ohio; Justine Megething, Elizabethtown, Ky.; and Sharon (and spouse Larry) Kocourek, Greenville, S.C.; and four brothers: Daniel Slone, Warsaw; Ronald (and spouse Mary) Slone, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Mark Slone; and Orville Slone, Oklahoma City, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harry and Bob Slone.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Bob Brown of God’s Highway to Heaven, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
