PLYMOUTH - John W. Lowry Sr., 69, of 700 Berkley St., Plymouth, died at 6:50 a.m. Dec. 14, 2007, at his daughter's home in Warsaw.
He was born June 9, 1938, in Bourbon, to Edward and Marie Hart Lowry.
He worked at Fairmont Homes as a lead man.
Surviving are three daughters: Rae Ann (and spouse Stephen) Harris; Lisa (and spouse Pat) Roark and Rejeana (and spouse Dan) Dunning; six sons, John Jr. (and spouse Shanna) Lowry, Tim (and spouse Sherry) Lowry; Jerry (and spouse Tonya) Lowry, Terry Lowry, Carl Lowry, and Bobby Lowry; three sisters, Mary (and spouse Raymond) McGriff; Jody (and spouse Joe) Friend and Patty Brugh; a brother, Carl (and spouse Linda) Lowry; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Harold, Richard, Gene and Paul; a sister, Rose Ellen; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Robert Rice officiating. A time of visiting with the family will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
