SYRACUSE – John W. Clingerman, 79, of Syracuse, died June 2, 2012, in Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen.
He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Noble County, to William and Helen Snavely Clingerman.
He retired from Dana Corp. and was a Korean War veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Jacqueline (and spouse Michael) Gingerich, Goshen; two sons, David (and spouse Valerie) Clingerman, Elkhart, and Jerry Clingerman, Pittsburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery.
Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
