John R. Slone, age 64, of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at 10:56 a.m. in his residence.
John was born on May 21, 1955, in Warsaw, to Isaac and Colleen Wilson Slone.
He was a lifetime Cubs fan and member on the Die-Hard Cub Fan Club International Society since 1969.
John is survived by siblings, Diana (Donald) Dugan, of Rochester; Donna (Steve) Burke, of Warsaw; niece and nephews, Sara Yarber, Jason Slone, Ryan Slone and Kevin Slone. In addition, he is survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, “My Angels,” Serenity Slone, Allison Yarber and Isaac Slone; and also his K-9 companion “Buddy.”
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Slone.
Services will be private. All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
