COLUMBIA CITY – John Paul Greene, 42, passed away Sept. 12, 2014, in Lima, Ohio. He was born Nov. 1, 1971, in Fort Wayne, to Stanley Martin and Peggy Watkins Greene. He was married to Bethany Droegemeier Greene, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Huntington High School with the Class of 1990, and had been a sign maker for Johnson Brothers in South Whitley and Signs Source USA in Lima. He was well known to be generous of spirit, a loving and compassionate family member and hard-working. Surviving are six siblings: Kathy (and spouse James) Bailey, Ginger (and spouse Kevin) Decker, Jeanette, Gretchen, Stanley M. and JoHannah Greene; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, Garrett Levi Greene; his parents; and a sister, Jenifer Greene. A remembrance hour, followed by a graveside service, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at South Park Cemetery, Columbia City.
