NAPPANEE – John “Luke” Boyd, 68, of Golden Living Nursing Home, Elkhart, died at 11:38 a.m. Dec. 14, 2011, in Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Richlands, Va., to Alex and Gussie Hagy Boyd. In 1973, he married Delta “Debbie” Sincox, who died in 2005.
Surviving are four daughters, including Carla (and spouse Ron) Pratter, Warsaw; three sons; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by military graveside rites and cremation.
