NAPPANEE - John Lee Green, 70, of 614 Summit Court, Kissimmee, Fla., and formerly of Nappanee, died March 2, 2008, in Osceola Regional Medical Center, Kissimmee.
She was born Aug. 3, 1937, in Clarksville, Tenn., to Charlie and Ruby Streetman Green. On July 27, 1958, he married Dorothy Bowers, who died March 14, 1977.
He lived in the central Florida area for many years and was a retired motel engineer.
Surviving are two sons, Robbie Green, Kissimmee, and Steve Green, Naples. Fla.; a daughter, Karen (and spouse Reed) Glendenning, Orange Grove, Texas; five brothers: Charles (and spouse Retha) Green, Nappanee; Frank (and spouse Joann) Green, Milford; Irving (and spouse Pattie) Green, Cromwell; James (and spouse Shirley) Wallace Jr., Bremen; and Richard A. Wallace, St. Cloud, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth (and spouse Lonnie) Spencer, St. Cloud, and Jane (and spouse Miller) Dermott, South Bend; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Otto Beer Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
