Editor, Times-Union: I would like to extend my deepest sympathy, heartfelt condolences and prayers to and for the family of John Kinsey. He was my representative in the county council for the 4th district, he was my very first barber when I was a little kid, and I have very fond memories of visiting his barber shop with my dad and brothers.
He was always a kind soul, very gentle man and was a great asset to our community and county council. I was at the council meeting when he announced that the cancer he was fighting had returned, and he would appreciate all our prayers.
I’m extremely saddened by the news of his death, but I know he was a strong Christian man and I look forward to the day when we meet again.
