John Glenn Wins Big In Bourbon

BOURBON — Falling behind 20-0 in the opening quarter, the Triton football team couldn’t fight back against the visiting John Glenn Falcons Friday night.
In the 40-6 Northern State Conference loss, Triton mustered 10 first downs to Glenn’s 21, while the Falcons amassed 467 rushing yards to Triton’s 37.
For Triton, Cole Creighbaum filled in well for injured starting quarterback Grant Stichter, completing 13 of 18 pass attempts for 150 yards and a touchdown pass to Gage Waddle, who had 63 total receiving yards.
The win improves Glenn to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the NSC, but the result drops Triton to 1-4 and 0-3 in the conference.
Up next for Triton is a trip to Class 4A No. 5 New Prairie Friday night.
