John E. Vealey, 81, formerly of Warsaw, died at 6:50 a.m. July 10, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.
He was born April 11, 1931, in Winifrede, W.Va., to Wilfred and Nellie Vealey.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He worked in maintenance for Dalton Foundry, retiring after 30 years.
Surviving are three daughters: Sandra Grindle, Silver Lake; Brenda Bowers, Warsaw; and Patricia Craig, Wabash; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lorie Habbegger and Connie Kern, and twin siblings.
A graveside service will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery.
