John E. Andrejko, 56, Bourbon, died Jan. 27, 2012, after a courageous battle with melanoma.
He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., to Edward J. and Irene Andrejko.
He was employed by OmniSource, Bourbon. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was beloved by both his family and friends.
Surviving are a son, Joshua, Bourbon; his mother, Irene Andrejko, Branford; four sisters: Beverly (and spouse Brent) Vogelbacker, Glen Lyon, Pa.; Patricia (and spouse Dennis) Hackett, Fort Wayne; Mary (and spouse Paul) Krotki, Milford, Conn.; Jean (and spouse Kenny) Pudill, Milford, Conn.; two brothers, Robert (and spouse Sue) Andrejko, Ansonia, Conn., and Thomas Andrejko, Startford, Conn.; his significant other, Valerie Pruitt, Pierceton; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Andrejko.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with Deacon Jim Kitchens, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, officiating.
