MILFORD — John D. “BJ” Wright, 47, Pierceton, formerly of Milford, passed away as a result of an automobile accident in Tennessee on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018.
John was born Dec. 18, 1970, in Goshen, to David “Moe” and Luz “Kim” Soto Torres Wright.
BJ was well-known in the area and was often seen riding his Harley. He loved his two daughters, Tonya and Tae. He was very outgoing and enjoyed socializing with friends, going to concerts and traveling.
He is survived by two daughters, Tonya (boyfriend Kevin) of Ohio and Tae (fiancé Corey) of Florida; his partner in life, Lisa Rhodes; and his parents, Moe and Kim of Milford. He is also survived by a sister, Gina Vuittonet (partner Jeff “Squeak” Sorensen), Milford; a nephew, Austin Vuittonet, Texas; and his ex-wife, Vicki (Peyton) Shaw.
He was preceded in death by two nephews, Brock Vuittonet and Tony Vuittonet; maternal grandparents Manuel Soto and Providencia Torres; and paternal grandparents Eunice and Ulysses Wright.
According to his wishes, services will be private.
Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
