Jobs

The idea of creating all these jobs is wonderful. The problem is in building roads and bridges takes highly skilled trades. I doubt that there are very many people that are laid off from upper management that have the knowledge or skills to run a earth mover, bulldozer or scraper. About the only thing that might be in their skill level is running a hand shovel. I am not making fun of their skills, but there is little or none of those jobs required.

On the stimulus side, why doesn't the government highly tax the companies that have sent all the jobs overseas. They could give a tax break to the American companies that have stayed here in the USA and that would create a lot of the jobs that are being lost, and that in turn would stimulate the economy. The companies that have sent the jobs overseas are reaping high profits and costing all of us to suffer the wrath.

Everything anymore is just the almighty dollar and to hell with everyone else. If they sent the jobs to cheaper labor, then tax them accordingly, and they might bring the jobs back and you know what that would do for the economy. I believe it would create a lot of lost jobs. What do you think?

I hope that we are not pouring the money down the proverbial rat hole.
