PIERCETON - JoAnne Daisy Browning-Brown, 62, of Pierceton, died at 10:30 p.m. March 7, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Columbia City.
She was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Chicago, Ill., to Cecil and Daisy Haynes Rogers. On June 9, 2008, she married Bobby Brown, who survives.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker, a U.S. Army veteran and loved to play Bingo.
Also surviving are three sons, Lenny John (and spouse Kat) Moore, North Manchester, and Buster Brown and Billy Joe Brown, both of Pierceton; five daughters: Minona "Sissy" (and spouse Phillip) Denton, South Whitley; April (and spouse Terry Sr.) Sabo, Warsaw; Bobbie Jo Brown, Pierceton; Crystal (and spouse Rob) Brown-Shugars, Baltimore, Md.; and Faye Anne Browning, Anderson; a sister, Minona (and spouse Tim) Harris, Warsaw; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dennis Rogers; a nephew, Denny Lee Rogers; Henry Wolfe; and a daughter, Rose Ellen Browning.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Ind. 13, Pierceton, with Pastor Mark Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with military honors by American Legion Post 258, Pierceton.
