Joanne Vanderpool Collins, age 69, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at 5:45 p.m. in her residence.
Joanne was born Nov. 5, 1950, in Willard, Ohio, to Robert and Glessie Barnett Vanderpool.
She was united in marriage to Junior Collins on May 9, 1964, in Kentucky. She worked as an inspector for years at Jomac Products. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Joanne is survived by three children: Lisa Howard, of Warsaw; Vicki (Randy) Carr, of Pierceton; Janille (Kevin) Montel, of Silver Lake; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Barnett, of Stockbridge, Mich., and brother, Ronnie Vanderpool, of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and daughter, Nella Faye Collins.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. The Rev. Henry Arnett Jr. will officiate the service.
All arrangements are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
