JoAnn J. Edwards, 84, of Warsaw, died at 10:15 a.m. June 23, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born March 21, 1927, in Mishawaka, to William and Pansy Clark McGinnis. On March 17, 1962, in Fort Wayne, she married Howard Edwards, who died Dec. 28, 1988.
She was a former resident of Fort Wayne, moving back to Warsaw 17 years ago. She worked at Magnavox, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are a daughter, Colleen Edwards (and companion Sherrie Pratt) Warsaw; a sister, Dorothy Grow, Claypool; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessica Kelly, both of Warsaw; and two great-grandchildren, Autum and Sebastion Kelly, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Paul, William, Adrien, Aaron and Tommy McGinnis; and four sisters: Geraldine Ervin, Bonnis Blosser, Norma Himes and Peggy Drabenstott.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
