SYRACUSE - Joan Carol McClure, 60, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and formerly of North Webster and Syracuse, died at 2:47 p.m. May 19, 2007, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 17, 1946, in Charleston, W.Va., to Wayne and Ann Burnside Eplin. On Nov. 4, 1965, she married Jack McClure, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a graduate of South Side High School, Muncie. She attended New Life Christian Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeff McClure, Kokomo, and Bob (and wife Vivian) McClure, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Angie McClure, Manhattan Beach; seven grandchildren: Kelsey and Courtney McClure, both of Kokomo; Gabriel and Angie McClure, both of Manhattan Beach; and Kandice, Ian and Evan McClure, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; her mother, Ann Eplin, LaBeele, Fla.; two brothers, Don (and wife Jeannie) Eplin, Atlanta, Ga., and Jerry (and wife MiSon) Eplin, Fort Mills, S.C.; and three sisters, Judy VanNatter, Muncie; and Mrs. Will (Brenda) Williams and Ruby Eplin, both of LaBelle, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Life Christian Church, 744 S. CR 325E, Warsaw. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery - Mock Addition.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
