Jo Ann S. RobinsonSYRACUSE – Jo Ann S. Robinson, 85, died June 9, 2011, in IU Health Goshen Hospital, after being ill since October 2010. She was born April 11, 1926, in Fort Wayne, to William and Glennys Byerly Schwartz. She moved to this area in 1978. She was married to David Robinson for 49 years. A 1943 graduate of Fort Wayne South Side High School she received a masters degree from Indiana University. She was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church and was very active in the community for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lynn Robinson, Syracuse, and Marjorie Crosse, Yreka, Calif.; two sons, William (and spouse Stacy) Robinson, Cedarburg, Wis., and Daniel (and spouse Carolyn) Robinson, Zionsville; four grandchildren: David Crosse, Laura, Sarah, and Daniel Robinson. Her body will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. ***** Memorial contributions may be made to Women’s Retreat Health Center for the Heartstrings Sisters Fund.
