WINONA LAKE – The Jingle Bell Run and Walk to benefit the Arthritis Foundation is this month in Winona Lake. The race is Dec. 8th at 1 p.m. at the Winona Lake Senior Center. This year’s race will be in honor of Katherine Alderfer, Warsaw. Alderfer is the Jingle Bell Run youth honoree. Alderfer was diagnosed in May 2010 with an autoimmune disorder, Juvenile Dermatomyositis. To register for the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell 5K Run and Walk, visit www.jbrwarsaw.org or on race day at the Winona Lake Senior Center. Team registration will be available until Friday at 5 p.m. Individual online registration will be available until noon on Dec. 5. Race day registration and packet pickup will be from noon to 12:40 p.m. Donations may be made online as well.
