Jessie Elizabeth HamiltonJessie Elizabeth Hamilton of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 91.

She was born on June 8, 1927, in Kingston, N.Y., to Pierina Prosperi Santora and Lorenzo Santora.

Jessie was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 70 years, where she attended Winona Lake Free Methodist Church and Warsaw Community Church.  She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother; displaying her great love for her special needs daughter, Marjorie, having taken care of her daughter until she was no longer physically able to do so. Jessie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters:  Patricia (Chuck) Freeman (Warsaw); Marjorie Hamilton (Warsaw); and her son, Robert “Bob” Hamilton (Warsaw).  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Lou Santora (Pennsylvania); and her sister, Jean Brown (Pennsylvania).  

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry and Joe Santora; and her daughter, Suzanne Hamilton in 1965.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to noon at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow at noon, officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer.  

Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
