SYRACUSE - Jessica Marie Rodriguez, 23, of Milford, died at 5:18 p.m. April 28, 2009, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Ind. 19 south of Nappanee along with her unborn son, Gideon Michael Rodriguez.
She was born March 22, 1986, in Bremen, to John Gary and Esther Marie Avery Fisher, who survive in Leesburg. On June 30, 2005, at Winona Lake, she married Miguel A. Rodriguez, who survives.
She was a lifetime Leesburg/Milford area resident, she was a 2004 Wawasee High School graduate and formerly attended Ivy Tech Community College, Warsaw. She worked at Burger King, Syracuse, for seven years and worked her way up to assistant manager. She was a member of North Webster Church of God.
Also surviving are a daughter, Ciara Rose Rodriguez, at home; a son, Ethan Isaac Rodriguez, at home; a stepdaughter, Alexis Rodriguez, Fort Wayne; grandmother, Edith Avery, Syracuse; three brothers: Joshua Fisher, Warsaw; Dominic (and spouse Bambi) Fisher, Milford; and John Fisher, Leesburg; and three half brothers, Shaun (and spouse Judy) Fisher, Eldersburg, Md., and Adam Fisher and Matthew Fisher, both of Buchannan, Mich. She was preceded in death by three grandparents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at North Webster Church of God with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
