MILFORD – Jerry Lee Templin, 69, of Leesburg, passed away Dec. 8, 2012, in his residence, surrounded by family. He was born Dec. 6, 1943, in Warsaw, to Harold and Dorothy Boone Templin. On March 1, 1964, he married M. Jane Beer, who survives. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all his children and grandchildren. He was a local farmer and a member of Nappanee Missionary Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Kristi (and spouse Mark) Strakowski, Cincinnati; two sons, Scott (and spouse Amy) Templin and Terry (and spouse Karen) Templin, all of Leesburg; and eight grandchildren: Trent, Kayla, Sadie, Sam, Sophie, Jake, Jared and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Don Hoffman. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Norm Reimer officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery. Calling will be from noon until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. ***** Memorials may be given to Goshen Homecare and Hospice.
