NORTH MANCHESTER – Jerry Lee Hand, 89, formerly of Sidney, died April 15, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Wabash in Wabash.
He was born in Crawford County, Ill., Dec. 14, 1936, to Harold and Imogene Schmalzried Hand. He married Barbara Karen Bollinger on Dec. 14, 1957; she survives.
He served in the Air Force and honorably discharged in 1960.
Family and friends may call Friday, April 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. A private graveside will be held at Ross, Clemmers, Fisher Cemetery, Sidney, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to honor the memory of Jerry Hand, memorial contributions may be made to the Collamer Christian Church, 5850 South 900 West, South Whitley, IN 46787.
