Jerry Goble, 57, of Tippecanoe, passed away at 1:43 p.m. Jan. 24, 2013, in Vibra Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Floyd County, Ky., to Argie and Lucille Burchett Goble. On April 16, 1977, in Clintwood, Va., he married Debbie Sherman, who survives in Tippecanoe. He worked at Dalton Foundries, Warsaw, for 30 years, and was a member of Grace Outreach, Tippecanoe. He also will be lovingly remembered by a son, Jerry (and spouse Michelle) Goble, Warsaw; a daughter, Amanda (and spouse James) Scarberry, Bourbon; four grandchildren, Lyda and Ayden Scarberry and Lucas and Abby Goble; four brothers: Kennith (and spouse Dinah) Goble, Tippecanoe; Johnnie (and spouse Loranna) Goble, Pierceton; Billy Joe (and spouse Rhonda) Goble, Warsaw; and Roy (and spouse Kay) Thomas, Etna Green. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Galen Thomas; and a sister, Virginia Hall. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastors Bob Haywood, Bob Brown, Luther Bailey and Larrie Kreft.
