COLUMBIA CITY – Jerry E. Schuh, 74, Warsaw, died at 7:07 p.m. June 2, 2016, at Vibra Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was transferred May 16 from Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1942, in Columbia City, to Waldo E. and Sarah Ilene King Schuh. He attended Columbia City High School. On June 30, 1960, he entered the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged June 29, 1966. He began working for R.R. Donnelley in 1965 until his retirement in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Geri V. (and spouse Christopher) Hurd, Warsaw, and Amanda J. (and spouse Ryan) Hills, Milford; five grandchildren: Michael Farner, Tyler Humphries, Nathan Horn, Nichole Marval and Gracelynn Hills; two great-grandchildren, Quentin Humphries and Anabella Marval; and a brother, John Schuh, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard W. Schuh. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
