SHARPSVILLE - Jerome H. Lassiter, 88, of Peru, died at 11:47 p.m. March 29, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Peru.
He was born April 4, 1919, in Almo, Ky., to Atmer and Addie Henley Lassiter. He married Marilyn A. Francis, who died in 1989. In May 1989, he married Kathleen English Lassiter.
Also surviving are two sons; two daughters, including Jerilyn A. (and spouse Stephen K.) Manning, Claypool; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boyer Funeral Home, Sharpsville, with the Rev. Richard Lyth officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
