PLYMOUTH — Jerome Christopher Posey, 36, Plymouth, passed away Dec. 23, 2016, in his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1980, in Warsaw, to Rocky Dean and Shelly L. Owens Posey. He married Stefanie N. Baker on Aug. 1, 2015, in Rochester, but they spent the last 11 years together raising their family. He had worked at Forest River in Elkhart as an electrician. Surviving are his wife, Stefanie N. Posey, Plymouth; their six children: Arryana Posey, Serenity Posey, Skyler Thews, Dejayna Thews, Parker Posey and Eliza Posey; mother and stepfather; Shelly and Alexander McMillan, Shipshewana; mother-in-law, Cindy Myers, Plymouth; father-in-law, Richard Baker, Indianapolis;’ three siblings: Christina DeBoard, Mentone, and Sarah Tackman and Alex Tackman, both of Goshen; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Rocky Dean Posey. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Ed Friberg officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the service Friday.
