SYRACUSE - Jeffrey C. "Jeff" Clement, 57, of Merrillville, died at 12:07 a.m. Aug. 2, 2010, in the William J. Riley Hospice Residence, Munster.
He was born Jan. 8, 1953, in Needham, Mass., to Morris A. and Barbara J. Clark Clement. On Nov. 19, 1988, in Milford, he married Angela J. Wise, who survives.
He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1971. He worked at Norfolk Southern Railroad for the past 34 years as a car inspector and has resided in Merrillville for the past 12 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kayla Clement, Merrillville; two sons, David (and spouse Annette) Clement, Elkhart, and Keegan (and fiance Donna) Wise, Lynnwood, Ill.; a granddaughter; her father, Morris Clement, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Pam (and spouse Clyde) Weldy and Cindy (and spouse Greg) Andrews, all of Bristol; and a brother, Stephen (and spouse April) Clement, Nashville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Milford Christian Church with the Rev. Stephen Leininger officiating.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
