SOUTH BEND – Jeffery Michael Lawton, 32, Warsaw, and formerly of Mishawaka, passed away suddenly Aug. 3, 2014, in his residence. He was born March 7, 1983, in South Bend. He graduated from Penn High School in 2001. He was always full of life and loved snowboarding, skateboarding and any extreme sport. There wasn’t a place he could go without knowing at least one person who loved and cared for him. He was employed by R & B Automotive, Warsaw, in sales. Survivors are: his mother, Deborah Lawton, Phoenix, Ariz.; his father, Gerry Lawton, South Bend; and brother, Chad (and spouse Molly) Lawton, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandparents: Bob and Bonnie McPike, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Doris Lawton, South Bend; and Carol (and spouse John) McClure, Goshen. Our beloved son and brother accepted Christ in his life last year, and shared that passion with us all. His jubilant and “live for the moment” attitude will leave a permanent and loving impression on all who knew him. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Burial is in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to services on Friday in the funeral home. ***** Memorials to Our Father’s House, 401 Argonne Road, Warsaw, IN 46580.
