BOURBON – Jeff A. Ellinger, 50, Bourbon, passed away Feb. 19, 2015, in Memorial Hospital South Bend, after suffering many medical issues. He was born May 15, 1964, in Plymouth, to Dale Eugene and Sandra Metheny Ellinger. He had been a lifelong resident of the area, graduated from Triton High School with the class of 1982, and he attended the Grace Outreach Fellowship Church in Tippecanoe. He farmed with his grandfather, and had worked at Beechwood Trusses, Wireflex and most recently at Bourbon Plastics as a supervisor. In his spare time, he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Bourbon, and he really enjoyed his motorcycle and the freedom of the outdoors. He is survived by his parents, who survive in Bourbon; his sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Ed Wogoman, and their daughter Aubrey, Goshen; two brothers: Cory Ellinger and his daughter Payton, Argos; and Skyler (and spouse Jessica) Ellinger and their son Caleb, Knox. No services are planned. A celebration of life will be from 3 to 5 p.m. May 17 at the Matchette Center, Bourbon.
