Jeanette Marie Fenton, 77, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully June 2, 2015, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was born June 17, 1937, in Hillsdale, Mich., to Alvine and Wilma Barber Diemer. On April 27, 1957, she married her beloved husband, Charles Fenton, who survives. She and her husband recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. For 15 years, she worked part-time as a secretary at Kelly Corp. while raising two daughters, Kim Michele and Pamela Jean. Friends and family were her love and joy. She and Roger enjoyed traveling across the state to attend their grandchildren's various events and to Gulf Shores, Ala., where they vacationed during the winter months. When she wasn't traveling or shopping at craft stores, she enjoyed scrapbooking, card making and spending time in her garden. She was an active member of the Kosciusko County Master Gardener Association, Town and County Garden Club and the Country Friends Home Economics Club. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Kim (and spouse Scott) Crothers, Syracuse, and Pam (and spouse Ray) Stephens, New Haven; six grandchildren: Daniel II and Diana Greenwood, both of Fort Wayne; Julie (and spouse Travis) Beer, Nappanee; Jennifer Crothers, Fishers; and Riley and Jake Stephens, both of New Haven; two great-grandchildren, Clare Taylor and Evie Greenwood, Fort Wayne; and three sisters: Joan Boehrer, Norman, Okla.; Judy Diehm, Aurora, Colo.; and Jill Diemer, Holbrook, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. July 12 with a memorial service at 2 p.m. at her home in Warsaw.
