Jean Valentine Cahill, 97, Winona Lake, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
She was born in Plainfield, N.J., on June 30, 1928, to Ada Corliss Henion and Adam Valentine. On Aug. 14, 1948, she married Rev. John “Jack’ Allen Cahill; he died March 30, 2019.
A memorial service celebrating Jean’s life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27 in The Chapel of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, officiated by Chaplain Bryan Benjamin. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw.
She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colo.
