Jean C. Cushman, 81, of Plymouth, and formerly of Warsaw, died at 3:05 p.m. March 3, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 21, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Henry and Elizabeth Schmitt Barnes.
Moving to Warsaw in 1995, she then relocated to Plymouth in 2001. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Plymouth, and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Surviving are three daughters: Jane Serovy, Warsaw; Carol Clark, Portage; and Helen (and spouse Steve) Lorah, East Liverpool, Ohio; a son, Tom Cushman, Charleston, S.C.; a brother, James Barnes, Milwaukee; and nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Additional calling will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. ***** Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church or School, 125 N.
