Jarrette: A Good Man

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

I am responding to the letter Dennis Lundgren wrote on April 25.

I saw in your letter that you stated you are "at a loss for" Judge Jarrette. I'm assuming you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him. I figured this is as good of time as ever to let people know what I think of Judge Jarrette.

Starting with social experiences, my wife and I have had the pleasure of knowing Judge Jarrette and his wife for more than five years now. They are one of the most caring and loving couples we have ever known. You could say they are like a second set of parents to us.

In the past, if we ever needed something and they found out about it, they were more than willing to offer help. We know them personally and know they donate hours of time every single week to doing volunteer work to better our community and the lives of people in our community.

Onto his position as a judge in Kosciusko County's courts. Judge Jarrette has done nothing but help every person that has came through his court. My family has seen that first hand and would be the first to say we would vote for him a thousand times over.

I encourage you to go to the Times-Union Web site and look under the "Reader Comments" section, and you will see a comment submitted by Aaron Brubaker that talks about his first-hand experience with Judge Jarrette. When it's time to vote here in a few days, I would like to ask you to assist us in handing Judge Jarrette another term. He more than deserves it, he's done our community so much good already.
