MONTICELLO - Janie A. "Jane" Custer, 63, formerly of Monticello, died at 9:51 a.m. March 31, 2011, at her daughter's home in Seymour.
She was born July 15, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Cecil and Mary Maxine Richason Custer.
She was employed with Sprint and also with Comcast, from which she retired.
She is survived by a son, Arrick Custer, Monticello; a daughter, Arriann Custer, Seymour; a brother, Jack (and spouse Cindy) Custer, Monticello; a niece, Andrea D. Custer; and grandchildren, Aubry A. and Gage M. Custer.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview I.O.O.F Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Dodson of the Monticello Christian Church officiating. A celebration of her life will follow.
