Janet Louise “Lu” Ragan Clark Robertson, 61, died in Auburn, Calif., Oct. 27, 2014, where she had resided for the past three years.
She was born Jan. 18, 1953, in Warsaw to Bert E. and Alma L. Groat Ragan. In 1972, she married Jerry Clark. On June 9, 2013, in Warsaw, she married Don Robertson, who preceded her in death.

The family moved to Walla Walla, Wash., in 1962. She attended Warsaw Community High School her junior year. She returned to Washington and is a 1972 graduate of Walla Walla High School.
After spending four years in Oakridge, Ore., the Clarks relocated to Indiana. In high school, her first job was at Penguin Point on Detroit Street, Warsaw. Later, she worked at Dalton Foundry and at the Indiana Department of Transportation for 18 years. Throughout her adult life she continued her education taking classes at both Ivy Tech and I.U. Bloomington, earning an associate’s degree and lacking only a few courses for a bachelor’s degree.
She was incredibly liked by everyone she met. She was faith-driven, inspirational, positive, kind, humorous, strong, sensitive, nurturing, a music lover and a grand story teller. She was a beloved daughter, incredible sister, awesome mother, super cousin and a loyal friend. She always had a smile on her face and laughter to share.  Her faith never let her down, and she always believed the best in people, challenging situations and life lessons. She looked at life as an adventure, and made it adventurous for anyone around her. She left many memories behind for us to remember and to share.
Surviving are her mother; three sons: Joshua Clark, Bloomington; Jason Clark, Auburn; Joey Shepherd, South Whitley; two sisters, Linda (and spouse Jim) LoBue, Auburn, Calif., and Kathy (and spouse Rusty) Styles, Elkhart; three grandchildren: Nicole Flory, Ashtin Clark and Cadence Shepherd.
