Janet Ann Hofer, 51, Warsaw, went home to be with the Lord at 5 p.m. Sept. 18, 2015, at Parkview Whitley Hospital of Columbia City. She was born July 18, 1964, in Warsaw, to Harold and Clarabell Taylor Long. On Oct. 27, 1984, she married Tim Hofer, who survives in Warsaw. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she attended Warsaw Community Church for many years. She was a 1982 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and a 1986 graduate of Wabash Beauty College. She was also a local real estate agent. She cherished her family and time spent together, especially family vacations. She will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and contagious laughter. Also surviving are, three sons: TJ, Caleb and Jonathan Hofer, all of Warsaw; her daughter, Amanda (and spouse Riley) Boyer, Warsaw; two brothers, Gary (and spouse Kim) Long, Etna Green, and Tom (and spouse Deb) Long, Bourbon; two sisters, Peggy (and spouse Dave) Arnold, Warsaw, and Teresa (and spouse Rob) Zurcher, North Webster; mother-in-law, Dorothy (and spouse Craig) Walters, Warsaw; two sisters-in-law, TyAnn (and spouse Alan) Walker, Warsaw, and Peggy (and spouse Larry) Baker, North Webster; and her brother-in-law, David (and spouse Fatima) Hofer, North Manchester. She was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Leon Hofer. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with a lifelong family friend, Pastor Jerry Lloyd, officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
