PIERCETON – Jane Miller, 76, Pierceton, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Aug. 15, 2014, in Parkview Oaks, Columbia City. She was born Feb. 6, 1938, in Warsaw, to Merl and Violet Plew Wolfe. On Sept. 12, 1955, in Warsaw, she married Bub Miller, who preceded her in death. She was a lifetime residence of Whitley and Kosciusko counties. She was a lifeguard on Center Lake, was in housekeeping at the Holiday Inn and was also a homemaker. She attended Highway 13 Free United Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a heart of gold. Surviving are two sons, Mark (and spouse Tammy) Miller, Pierceton, and Richard Miller, Larwill; one daughter, Sue Brookens, Pierceton; seven grandchildren: Amber Bromley, Claypool; April Bayne and Ashley Ritchie, both of Warsaw; Seth Miller, Nappanee; Sara Miller, Mentone; and Cheryl Matteson and Krystal Baldridge; and 29 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son; and one granddaughter, Tasha Milburn. Services will be at noon Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Pastor Ward Etsie Allen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Larwill.
